MarkupTree wishes all its clients and partners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Earlier this year, we partnered up with Novertur International Sàrl to help this Swiss company bring a fantastic idea to life: NOVERTUR!

NOVERTUR is an online platform designed to be the business network for internationalization, gathering enterprises wanting to go international, trade organizations and trade service providers in one place, thus making it easy for SMEs to prospect for new partners and opportunities.
One of the most important tasks in web application development is coding the interface using HTML and CSS. Application interfaces are thought carefully and then brought to life using HTML and CSS (some Javascript, too!). It's fair to say that the interface is the application, to our user's eyes. So it's very important that web app's interfaces are consistent and safe throughout the plethora of web browsers people use these days.
Browser mess!

This is were things start to get tricky... People use lots of different versions of lots of different browsers. Using lots of different browsers it's generally a good thing: although that increases the amount of work for web developers (browser specific coding and testing, etc), this multiplicity encourages browser developers to enhance and improve their products. Using different browser versions means some (or many!) of your users may be using outdated versions of a browser. This goes from tricky to plain bad!
Recently, we were looking for reasonably priced quality business cards. As a small, bootstraped company, we must take good care of our money, so we couldn't afford to buy the large quantities most printing companies require. Also, we don't need hundreds of cards for now!
After a quick web search, we found MOO, a printing company based in England offering some interesting products. We decided to go for the MOO MiniCards. These unusually small cards (half the size of a regular business card), caught our attention:
So we made our design and placed an order for 100 cards with two different designs (for two different people). Although we were expecting 10 to 20 business days of turnaround time (printing + shipping), the cards arrived amazingly fast: 4 business days!
Check out the final result:
The cards came in this nice little box, 100% recyclable
This is the kind of hassle-free, efective service we appreciate. Kudos to MOO!
